Stony Brook is a kindergarten through fourth-grade school located at 269 Grove Street in North Plainfield. Our current enrollment is approximately 245 students with about 50 staff members. We have a very active and supportive PTA that sponsors many enrichment activities throughout the year. Stony Brook's comprehensive academic program is aligned with the Standards, follows research-based practices, and adheres to the district and building goals. Students engage in reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, Spanish, and science with an emphasis on the latest technology. All subjects are integrated into the content areas of art, music, physical education, health and library skills. We continue to celebrate the importance of each student's individual learning journey.
